Located in Trego, Wisconsin, right off Highway of 53, Strongman Smokehouse welcomes trail riders and trailblazers, meat lovers and veggie haters.

Slow. low. and hours to go. That’s how we like to cook our meat. We have a hearty menu featuring slow-smoked brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs and finger-lickin' good fixins.
Beer.
Our barbecue pairs perfectly with an ice-cold beer. We aren't picky - so you don't have to be either! We have both craft-brewed and domestics to choose from as well as indoor and outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy. Our expansive taproom (opening Spring 2024) will knock the caps off your pounders.

Strongman Smokehouse is the place where the fun keeps going even after you’ve finished eating. We have sand volleyball, horseshoes and other activities for the entire family to enjoy. We want you to sit and stay while - after all, when you’re here, you’re family!

Our fearless leader, Spencer Churchill, trains for and competes in strongman events. He also spends his time training and encouraging others!
Absolutely! Along with other fun outdoor activities during both summer and winter.
Of course we will! Strongman will be a a smokehouse serving kick-ass smoked dishes using all of your favorite meats and traditional sides with some surprises as well.

Strongman Smokehouse has one simple goal in mind -to bring backyard barbecue to you.
The Churchill family - owners, operators and community members - also wear many hats: beer brewers, coffee roasters, and foodie friends. They wanted a place in the great Northwoods where the meat is always ready, the beer is always cold and all that’s missing is you. We have recipes that have been passed around from generations of backyard barbecuers that we are excited to cook up and serve to you. Our menu features brisket, ribs, chicken, and pork as well as drinks that are always served cold.
